Welcome to Fire and Iron Station 17’s website. Thanks for checking us out. "First in" members started Station 17 in 2004 and it continues to be a great group. I know this is the best firefighter club out there because the national and local bylaws are set up to welcome all members of the fire service to join. We welcome career, volunteers, retired, and support service. We do not place rules on what brand motorcycle you ride All are welcome. Being part of the Fire and Iron family has allowed me to meet a lot of people that I now call my brothers and sisters.
Station 17 members have logged thousands of miles visiting many of the other 130 plus stations through out the US - and we enjoy visits from other station members at our events and homes. You ask any station in the F&I nation and they’ll have a story to tell about station 17 events.
Station 17 is a 501(c) organization and supports Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety Burn Camp for Kids. We host a very successful ride because all members support the ride in some way. The combined efforts of all station 17 members make this a huge success. We have raised over $50,000.00 in the last 5 years and hope to continue this tradition for many years to come.
We also sponsor a food tote give away to needy families at Christmas time. We have helped 92 families in S.E. Wisconsin to have a better holiday.
Station 17 is a very social group. We have lots of fun and get things accomplished with pride and courtesy along with some common sense. If this sounds like something you wish to be part of, or if you would like to start your own station - give me a call. My contact information is on our website. I also encourage you to check out the rest of the site to see some of the past events and members.
